Their bodies accrete layers of fat in response to this, insulating them from their cold surroundings. Adding more Hearty items will further increase the number of Temporary Hearts.Hearty Salmons inhabit cold bodies of water within the Hebra Mountains and the Tabantha Frontier. Their main effect, however, is in Recipes, where a single Hearty Blueshell Snail will create a Hearty Seafood Skewer which fully recovers Link's Heart Containers, and adds a minimum of 3 Temporary Hearts in addition. If cooked on an open flame, Link will obtain a Blueshell Escargot, which restores 4½ hearts and can be sold for 15 rupees. The Hearty Blueshell Snail will restore three hearts when eaten. They can be sold to shop-vendors all over Hyrule for 15 Rupees each. Hearty Blueshell Snail can typically be found on beaches around Hyrule such as those by the Lanayru Sea or Necluda Sea.
